On Saturday, January 26, 2008, the South Orange-Maplewood Education Foundation hosted its fourth annual Night of 100 Dinners fundraiser.  

Thirty one generous hosts in Maplewood and South Orange organized 27 simultaneous parties, for more than 400 guests. Diners feasted on everything from heroes and chili to Moroccan cuisine, while spending the evening with new and old friends and learning more about SOMEF, their local education foundation. Thanks to the generosity of our hosts and guests, the event brought in an amazing $33,000+ – one of the single largest-grossing fundraisers in SOMEF history.  

Proceeds from this memorable and fun-filled event will help to support all of SOMEF’s initiatives, including Teacher Grants, the ACHIEVE Volunteer Tutor Program, professional development, the restoration of the Columbia High School Auditorium and much more.
